Meanwhile, a college student named Bhaskar Raju kidnaps Rayudu’s daughter and Sreeleela Reddy, who happens to be Ranjith Reddy’s daughter and Bhaskar’s classmate. It’s revealed that these kidnappings are related to the CEO of the Crown Group Company, Rudrakanti Ramakrishna Raju. He’s awaiting the death penalty and was falsely imprisoned by both Ranjith Reddy and Rayudu because he refused to legitimize their illegal money. Surprisingly, Ramakrishna Raju is actually the best friend of Bhaskar’s father, Manikanta Raju.

Bhaskar is determined to prove Ramakrishna Raju’s innocence, as he took the blame to protect his daughter, Rudraganti Parineeta, who was held captive by Ranjith and Rayudu’s men. With no other options, Ranjith and Rayudu release Ramakrishna Raju from prison. However, they retaliate by attacking Bhaskar and his family. Fortunately, Bhaskar has a doppelganger named Skanda, who saves them from harm.

As the story unfolds, it is revealed that Ranjith and Rayudu confess their crimes to the media. They also discover that Skanda is not who he seems to be; he’s a notorious assassin from Morocco and the love interest of Parineeta, Ramakrishna Raju’s daughter.

Skanda Movie Review

“Skanda” Review: A Mass-Packed Entertainer

Performances: Ram shines in “Skanda,” stepping into beast mode and dedicating himself entirely to Boyapati Sreenu’s narrative. He impressively justifies his role with his performance, particularly excelling in action sequences. In many ways, he carries the film on his shoulders. Sree Leela looks beautiful and delivers a fine performance, especially in the dance sequences.

Saiee Manjrekar, despite a limited role, displays her talent effectively. Her performance is satisfactory, though more screen time would have been beneficial. Srikanth portrays the troublesome CEO of a software company decently, adding depth to the narrative. Ajay Purkar and Sharath Lohithaswa deliver commendable performances as the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, respectively. Prince Cecil and Prabhakar also leave their mark in their limited roles. Daggubati Raja makes a lasting impression with his powerful dialogues as Ram’s father, while Gauthami and Indraja skillfully portray their respective roles as Ram’s mother and Srikanth’s wife.

Technical Values: Boyapati Sreenu returns with a mass entertainer that leans heavily on action. M Ratnam’s dialogues are impactful and give goosebumps at times. Thaman’s music and background score are passable, with the energetic background score enhancing many scenes, especially in the first half. Santosh Detake’s cinematography is top-notch, particularly in the fight sequences. The action sequences are breathtaking and showcase Ram like never before. The grand production values by Srinivasaa Silver Screen contribute to the film’s overall visual appeal.
