Bhagavanth Kesari Movie Story
In Bhagavanth Kesari, Nelkonda Bhagwanth Kesari (Balakrishna) becomes the caretaker of the little girl Vijji (Sreeleela) to fulfill her father’s wish. After he becomes a teenager, Kesari tries his best to train him for army recruitment. Rahul Sanghvi (Arjun Rampal), a billionaire businessman, has his eyes set on Project V and bribes high-level politicians. In the flashback, Rahul Sanghvi had a clash with Bhagwant Kesari and now he is trying to settle the score. The rest of the film is about how Bhagwant Kesari manages his two objectives – empowering Vijji and settling scores with Rahul.

Summary
A semi-backed emotional drama film that is packed with a lot of action scenes. The message on women empowerment is great but the emotional scenes lacks depth. While some dialogues and elevations worked out well and has an impact, some are just routine and over the top as usual. Suffers from excessive fights and unnecessary scenes(especially love track episode in the first half). The runtime is a bit lengthy. Overall, a okayish watch if you are a Balayya fan. On a side note, Anil Ravipudi told that it is a different film for him and Balayya babu but I could not see much difference from other Balakrishna’s films. Anil Ravipudi came out of his comfort zone and did this film but I felt he should stay in his comfort zone (comedy genre).
