Fighter Movie Review: Script Analysis
The movie “Fighter” is a tribute to the sacrifice and patriotism of the Indian Armed Forces. The film is loosely based on the Balakot airstrikes post the Pulwama attack in 2019. The story is well-written and engaging, with a perfect blend of action, drama, and patriotism. The film steers away from blatant jingoism and makes a solid statement as the drama unfolds. The dialogues are well-written and deliver a powerful message. The script is well-paced, and the story keeps you hooked till the end.
Fighter Movie Review: Star Performance
The movie features an ensemble cast of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Sanjeeda Shaikh. Hrithik Roshan is, without a doubt, the show-stopper. He displays valour, restraint and rage with incredible honesty. He owns every sequence he appears in, and makes every moment come alive with a stellar act. Hrithik Roshan delivers a power-packed performance as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, aka “Patty.” He is convincing in his role and delivers a performance that is both intense and emotional.
Deepika Padukone, as Squadron Leader Minal “Minni” Rathore, is equally impressive. She brings depth and nuance to her character and delivers a performance that is both strong and vulnerable.
Anil Kapoor is impeccable as always and is amazing in many scenes. The supporting cast is spot on, Karan Singh Grover is first class, while Akshay Oberoi is amazing, the antagonist Rishabh Sahni is completely menacing and all deliver remarkable performances.
Fighter Movie Review: Direction, Music
Director Siddharth Anand has done an excellent job of bringing the story to life. He has managed to create a visually stunning film that is both engaging and entertaining. The aerial combat sequences are breathtaking, and the visual effects are top-notch. The music by Vishal-Shekhar is also noteworthy. The songs are well-composed and add to the overall impact of the film.
Fighter Movie Review: The Last Word
Overall, “Fighter” is a well-made film that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. The movie delivers a powerful message about patriotism and sacrifice.
