Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time is one of the most awaited biggies of the year, and the updates for the film will be on full flow from next month. The team has completed the shoot for Vijay’s portions and will be left with only a few scenes before the entire film is wrapped up.
Recently, Netflix bought the OTT rights of The Greatest of All Time for a record-breaking amount of Rs 110 crore. Apart from the OTT rights, the satellite rights of The Greatest of All Time have reportedly gone to Zee Network for Rs 90 crore. This is still a huge amount, and if OTT and satellite rights deals are combined, the pre-release business reaches Rs 200 crore.
Meanwhile, The GOAT also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, and others in key roles. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Talking about the release date, it is scheduled to release on 5th September 2024.
The film will also mark the reunion of Vijay and Yuvan after 2003’s Pudhiya Geethai, which remains their only collaboration to date.
